More from the Department of Contradiction

I'd like to thank my reader Glen for submitting this screenshot.

He was trying to show a patient why she shouldn't be using quinine for her leg cramps, only to be betrayed by an ad in the lower right corner.

Dr. G. I guess this is my day for comments. My husband's pain management doctor recommended he drink quinine water for his leg cramps. Add to that the fact he is already prone to blood clots, this is very confusing.

Magnesium (citrate) is great for leg cramps! Most of us are deficient in magnesium.

pfft... i spit my diet coke out after that last comment (anon 3/13 3p). i guess one wouldn't be too concerned with leg cramps considering the abdominal cramps.... lmao!

My Dad was prescribed quinine for his leg cramps.

That article against quinine for leg cramps is dated December of 2006; my Dad passed on in June of 2006 from a STROKE!
